Our Story

Welcome to The Beach Theatre, where cinematic nostalgia meets coastal charm. In the heart of downtown St. Pete Beach, Florida, our historic theatre has been a beloved landmark since 1940. As of February 29th 2024, we are under new ownership and plan to reopen in 2025 as a cinema and live performing arts venue!

The Beach Theatre is a historic landmark that was well loved by the beach community. Since closing its doors in 2012, The Beach Theatre has sat vacant and taken significant damage from the elements. We are under a total renovation including a new screen, audio/visual equipment, seats, AC, roof, and everything in between! We are so excited to welcome you to the new Beach Theatre in 2025!
